About Nova
Nova is a hard-hitting hip-hop instrumental, led by a violin line over a cinematic, dark bed, set in Gm at 130 BPM. Mixed and mastered, it's ready to drop into your DAW.
How I made it →
Nova began with a melody idea I liked, and I built on top of it. What came next was violin, strings, cello and 808s, to give it more body. The 808s are what give it its weight. It runs at 130 BPM and it's in Gm; the vibe is aggressive and sensual. At that tempo you can rap half-time or go for a fast flow. It's built for artists who want to find inspiration in a beat, especially if your style is close to Travis Scott or Drake. Like every beat I make, I tried to leave my own essence in it.
