Lewis Capaldi x Katy Perry Type Beat – Unexpected
Details
About Unexpected
Unexpected is a dark, moody pop instrumental in the vein of an Adele x Beyonce type beat, set in D at 75 BPM. Mixed and mastered, it's ready to drop into your DAW.
How I made it →
I made Unexpected the way I make most of my beats: sitting at my PC, starting from a piano melody I liked. On top of that melody I kept adding strings, cello and bass until it felt complete. It runs at 75 BPM and it's in D; the vibe is dark. The major key gives it a brighter sound. I made it for artists looking for inspiration in a beat, especially if your sound leans toward Lewis Capaldi or Katy Perry. As with all my beats, I tried to put my essence into this one.
